Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was inside the restaurant with what spies said was a detail of 18 security guards, plus four drivers outside. “There was a ring of guards all around him,” said a spy, “with more stationed at the door.” (The spy said that Bibi opted for tagliatelle with tomato and basil.) “Real Housewives of New York” star Sonja Morgan was one customer being checked by his crack security team. “They were making her open her purse and checking her with a hand-held metal detector,” a restaurant regular said. She enjoyed the attention.
