Lady Gaga revealed at a Q&A in Toronto on Monday night that she had found love.
“It has been hard for me to find love, but I have found love,” the 27-year-old singer admitted to a round of applause.
Though she didn’t mention him specifically by name, Gaga has been dating boyfriend Taylor Kinney for a year now. The couple met last summer on the set of her “Yoü and I” music video.
The singer talked about the difficulty that she – and many others – face finding a partner who will accept them for who they are.
“When you meet someone that’s not intimidated by the amazing people that are around you, by the love that you receive, when they’re happy for you, men weren’t always happy for me. It was very challenging to watch a woman be successful.”
Gaga is in the middle of a world spanning press tour for her third studio album, “Artpop.” The album, which was released in the US last week, is projected to top the Billboard charts this week.
