Saturday was a stellar night for spectacular parties in New York — and YouTube sensation Austin Mahone.
Republic Records’ EVP Charlie Walk and wife Lauren threw a beautiful bar mitzvah for their sons Jesse and Jagger at Bowery hot spot Finale, with a live performance by Mahone, who was — wait for it — introduced by video link direct from Los Angeles by Ryan Seacrest.
“What About Love” singer Mahone got the crowd of teens and adults dancing by performing three songs on the stage at Finale — followed by a set by up and coming 16-year-old DJ/producer Ares Carter. Close friends there, with their children, included Fox Five’s Rosanna Scotto and husband Louis, DuJour’s Jason and Haley Binn, LionTree’s Aryeh Bourkoff and wife Elena, Alison and Andy Brod, Brooklyn Nets CEO Brett Yormark and his new bride, Elaina, Universal’s Monte Lipman and Warner Music Group’s Rob Wiesenthal.
