Lenny Kravitz made a surprise appearance Thursday night at Ginny’s Supper Club, the lounge beneath Marcus Samuelsson’s Red Rooster in Harlem.
Drummer Cindy Blackman Santana was playing her second set when a guitar-carrying Kravitz came into the room.
He quietly sat to watch Santana’s performance until halfway through her set, when she invited Kravitz onstage.
The two performed their high-energy hit “Are You Gonna Go My Way.” A spy called the atmosphere “electric.”
