The CMJ Music Marathon, which saw indie bands and artists play over the weekend at venues throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, even attracted Steven Spielberg to film.
The director was spotted in the DJ booth at Brooklyn Bowl on Friday, watching his kids Theo and Sasha perform as the band Wardell.
A spy said, “He filmed a good chunk of their set . . . with his phone!” Jay Z’s Roc Nation management group signed indie-folk duo Wardell earlier this year.
Theo, 25, provides all the instrumentals, including guitar, drums, and piano, and sister Sasha, 23, vocals. They released their debut EP, “Brother/Sister,” this summer.
