Gabrielle Union got a sparkly surprise from boyfriend Dwyane Wade Tuesday night after the 2013 NBA champion Miami Heat home opener against the Chicago Bulls — her own championship ring.
After the game, the actress, who was celebrating her 41st birthday, partied at Hyde Lounge in the American Airlines Arena. Wade, who had received his team championship ring earlier that day, had to fly to Philadelphia with the Heat for their game against the 76ers Wednesday night. But the star popped into Hyde before his flight to surprise Union with her own NBA ring.
“Wade walked in with a gift-wrapped box, opened it with her and put it on her finger,” a source told us. “He was there for under five minutes.”
After Union’s party at Hyde, her girlfriends took her to a surprise dinner at Catch Miami, where spies tell us the group sipped Moët champagne and sang along to the music.
Earlier this week she posted a bikini picture of herself on Instagram, with the caption, “Just smile . . . Kills em everytime #ItsNeverThatSerious #40.”
