Michael Douglas says he is optimistic he can fix his marriage to Catherine Zeta Jones.
“Things are great,” Douglas, now starring in Last Vegas, told reporters when asked about his 13-year-marriage. He added, “Onward and upward.”
Douglas, 69, was Las Vegas at a promotional event for his new movie still wearing his wedding ring.
Zeta-Jones, 44, was spotted wearing her wedding ring in New York City last week.
But the couple, who decided to “take a break” from their marriage earlier this year, haven’t stepped out publicly together since last spring.
Douglas is busy promoting his new movie “Last Vegas” which also stars Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro and Kevin Kline, as old friends who attend a bachelor party in Sin City.
