Funny nasty note from ex-Fallon producer sent to innocent family

A humorously nasty note meant for Jimmy Fallon’s newly named top producer Josh Lieb from the woman whose job he “stole” was inadvertently sent to the wrong person at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan.

Attached to a giant bouquet of garish balloons, the message mistakenly made its way into a private dining room, where a family was celebrating a birthday — and were surprised to unwrap a gift with a note that began, “Hey Dickface!”

The balloons were sent to Lieb by Amy Ozols, the “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” writer who was tapped in June to move up to become the top producer at “The Tonight Show” when Fallon takes over next year from Jay Leno. But Ozols was ousted from the job this month when “The Daily Show” vet Lieb was handed the reins to replace her, because she reportedly lacked day-to-day producing experience.

To exact her humorous revenge, Ozols sent the balloon bouquet to Lieb at his hotel, but it was delivered to the unsuspecting family’s birthday-bash room.

Opening a card attached to the towering gift, they were shocked to find the message: “Hey Dickface, This is what you get for stealing my job! I’m kidding, I love you, From Ozols.”

They finally put the puzzle together when they found another gift that was also mistakenly in the room with a card from Fallon to Lieb reading, “Welcome to ‘The Tonight Show,’ Jimmy.”

Luckily, the birthday bunch had a sense of humor. “They laughed hysterically” at the message, a spy said. “They were thankful that no one in their party actually paid for those over-the-top balloons. And, at least, they provided entertainment [for their party].”

After his “Daily Show” stint, Lieb — who’s reportedly good pals with Ozols, and has worked on “The Simpsons” and “NewsRadio” — had relocated to LA, but is moving back to town for the “Tonight Show” beginning in February under executive producer Lorne Michaels.

A rep for Fallon had no comment. Calls to Ozols’ production company were not returned.
