Tom Cruise surprised a Lake Placid resident when his people called Boots and Birdies, a local mini-golf and bungee-jumping business, and asked whether it could be closed to other customers for a “special guest.”
The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports that Cruise then showed up with daughter Suri, friends and security guards.
A local said, “the kids seemed to have a wonderful time” bungee jumping, and the actor was “friendly but quiet . . . videotaping his daughter.”
Owner Terry Nichols said: “It was a big deal.”
